President Donald Trump will speak at a rally next week on San Antonio’s East Side as the midterm election approaches.

The rally will be held Wednesday at Freeman Coliseum at 4:30 p.m. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. and the president is expected to speak at 6 p.m.

Attendees can sign up for the event on the Republican National Convention website linked here. A maximum of four tickets are allowed per signup.

Scheduled speakers at the event include Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is running for a seat in the Senate, and congressional candidate Carlos De La Cruz, an RNC official told the Texas Tribune.

The rally comes amid a series of Texas campaign stops for the president as he attempts to secure crucial seats for Republicans in the November election.

The president’s trips to Texas underscore how competitive the state has become this cycle, just two years after Trump carried it by 14 points. Polling has consistently shown Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico with a narrow lead over Paxton, a sight both unsettling and unfamiliar for Texas Republicans, who have had unified control of the state for decades.

De La Cruz is running for election to the U.S. House to represent the newly formed 35th Congressional District. It was redrawn by the Texas Legislature last year as part of the White House-ordered redistricting.
