An in-state matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans on Sunday did not disappoint.
The Cowboys pulled out a 34-30 win at Reliant Stadium to move to 2-2 on the season, rebounding after a heartbreaker against the Ravens in Rio last week. CeeDee Lamb had a monster performance, catching 17 passes for 189 yards and the game-winning score.
Dallas also got to see its new trade acquisition, cornerback Joey Porter Jr., for the first time in game action. His lockdown ability was as advertised, and he looks like he’ll be a big help to the Cowboys’ injury-ravaged secondary.
