A North Texas resident claimed a $2 million scratch-off prize, the largest of four Texas Lottery wins totaling $5 million announced Oct. 1.
The Haltom City resident bought the winning Millionaire’s Club ticket at Nick’s Corner Mart, located at 2300 S. Collins St. in Arlington, according to the Texas Lottery.
It was the second of four $2 million top prizes claimed in the game. Two more $2 million top prizes remained unclaimed in Millionaire’s Club as of the Oct. 1 announcement.
Millionaire’s Club tickets cost $30, and the game offers more than $175 million in total prizes. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.54, including prizes that cover the ticket’s purchase price. Those odds apply to all prize levels combined, rather than specifically to the $2 million top prize, according to Texas Lottery.
Three other Texans each claimed $1 million prizes.
A Baytown resident won playing Mega Millionaire after purchasing a ticket at Revolution, located at 4800 E. Wallisville Road in Baytown.
A Spring resident claimed a Premier Play prize with a ticket bought at Time Saver Food Mart, located at 4806 Spring Stuebner Road in Spring.
In San Antonio, a resident won playing Million Dollar Loteria after buying a ticket at Palo Alto Express, located at 719 Palo Alto Road.
All four winners chose to remain anonymous. Each retailer that sold a winning ticket may qualify for a $10,000 bonus through the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.
