EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police have identified the driver who died Saturday after a fiery single-vehicle crash in the Lower Valley.
According to the El Paso Police Department, at around 12:18 a.m., 33-year-old Celeste Dion Dominguez was driving a 2015 Mazda 3 east on Loop 375 near Midway when investigators say she veered right, drove off the road, crashed into a light pole and caught fire.

Investigators said that they don’t know why the crash happened, but believe that speed and alcohol were factors.
Police said Dominguez died at the scene.
According to EPPD numbers, this is the 50th traffic death of 2026 compared to 46 at this same time in 2025.
