SAN ANTONIO — No major injuries were reported after police say a young driver jumped the curb and crashed into a South Side restaurant as they were attempting to park.
Authorities responded around 2:12 p.m. Monday to the 9500 block of Poteet Jourdanton Freeway near 410.
Police said a young driver accidentally hit the gas pedal as she attempted to park and jumped the curb. Fire officials said the driver may have suffered some minor injuries.
A person inside the restaurant reported they were covered in glass shards but did not require transport to the hospital.
It’s unclear if the driver will face a fine or ticket.
