A man is in custody, and a four-month-old child is safe after an hours long SWAT standoff in south Houston today.
Harris County Precinct 7 Constables say it a happened today at a home on Princess Garden Way near West Orem, where the armed man barricaded inside with the baby boy.
Authorities tried to get the man to surrender peacefully and eventually gave up after multiple hours. The baby was removed safely from the home and was unharmed.
The man is now in custody. He had an active warrant for robbery and will now face additional charges.
