Tuesday will reach a high of 84 degrees, with a heat index, or “feels like” temperature, of 82 degrees. Temperatures will remain in the mid- to high-60s until 11 a.m.

North Texans can expect to feel little wind during the day, with gusts of up to 7 mph. The weather service said the next several days should have “fairly tranquil” weather conditions across D-FW.

Later this week, some areas of the southern U.S. may see rain due to a developing Gulf system, but North Texas is likely to miss out on these showers, according to the weather service.

However, the weather service said in its Monday afternoon forecast it will “keep an eye” on how things develop and update rain chances accordingly.
