PLAINVIEW, Texas (KCBD) – The Shallowater Mustangs (5-1) were finally able to brush off last week’s loss to Idalou as they topped the Plainview Bulldogs 34-10 on the road Friday night in their non-district finale.
The Mustangs took an early 14-3 lead in the third when QB Logan Winn connected with Gavin Guajardo for a deep score. That play kicked off a 27-7 run for Shallowater.
Highlights can be seen in the video attached.
The Mustangs will be off next week, before they begin district play on Oct. 16 hosting the Bushland Falcons. Plainview (2-4) faces a long trip next week and will play the Gunter Tigers.
