Munn-Holliday dropped her children off with her parents on Sept. 29 and left for Louisiana in a gray late model BMW, according to the sheriff’s office. Her parents then didn’t hear from her again.
In the early morning hours of Sept. 30, Louisiana State Police say a hit-and-run crash happened on I-10 eastbound near milepost 128 in Iberville Parish.
Investigators believe Munn-Holliday was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, but after it happened, investigators believe she walked away from the scene.
She hasn’t been seen since while investigators are using all available investigative resources and techniques to find her.
Volunteers with United Cajun Navy have been on the ground, using boats and drones to aid in the search.
“We’re doing our best,” volunteer Josh Gill said. “We made a promise to that family … that we’re going to do everything in my power and our power as an organization to help bring her home.”
According to the Black and Missing Foundation, Munn-Holliday was last seen wearing a purple one piece bodysuit jumper with a blue jean jacket.
Louisiana State Police and Harris County investigators are coordinating.
