Down the steps in the Central Library at 4 p.m. Thursday, The Basement is hosting Fight Night. Students can play classic fighting games with a chance to win prizes.

When arriving, students can get a game card to keep track of their progress. After at least one fight, students can enter a raffle to win one of three prizes, according to an event flyer.

There are posters, a mini Street Fighter II arcade machine and a Street Fighter 6 Chun-Li figurine.

There will be eight games and one station reserved for students to bring their own.

The games offered are Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Marvel Tokon, Guilty Gear Strive, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Pokkén DX, according to the flyer.

The flyer also states that not all The Basement’s games have extra downloadable content available, and students can log in to their personal accounts if they have one.

An active Mav ID is required to participate.
