As of Tuesday, it’s also been 37 days since the last high temperature below 90 degrees. With this heat, Central Texas has also been on a dry streak of 37 days straight.

The CBS Austin weather team predicts a weak front will arrive this weekend, but the front may not end our record high temperatures. Another stronger cold front may hit the area next week.
