One person died and at least one person is in critical condition after two vehicles were involved in a collision Tuesday evening in the Casa Linda neighborhood of East Dallas, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said.
Multiple units from the fire department were dispatched to at the intersection of Garland Road and Magellan Circle around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting the collision, officials said. There were initial reports of people trapped inside the vehicles.
Evans said four patients were rushed for treatment to the hospital while one victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fire department did not immediately identify the person who was killed Tuesday evening. Officials did not immediately say what led to the crash.
