North Texans are getting a new way to embrace a Jellycat plush.
The popular designer of whimsical soft toys is landing at the Nordstrom in NorthPark Center with its “Road Trip to Joy,” according to an announcement. The “store-in-a-store” is opening next week on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The “Road Trip to Joy” has been making stops at other Nordstroms in the U.S., including Los Angeles and Chicago, social media and mall posts show.
Jellycat has drawn fans from around the world with its creative takes on what a stuffed toy can be. Doughnuts, ski goggles and flowers are among the soft options on its website.
Shoppers can still find more traditional animal options such as cuddly bears and the “Bashful Bunny,” but also some quirkier animal options, such as a shrimp and a seal.
The brand, while it’s been around for more than 25 years, has been drawing more fans. The New York Times’ Wirecutter section named Jellycat among “13 of the Cutest Gifts We’ve Ever Seen,” including a smiling bagel and a pebble while even the Royal family loves the brand.
It also was named among the Time 100 “Most Influential Companies of 2026,” reporting that it reached more than $400 million in sales in 2025.
