LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A man previously accused of murder eight years ago has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
Devante Greathouse was originally accused of killing Kmydron Jordan in 2018.
The Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office agreed to a deal to drop the murder charge and add a charge for tampering with evidence with intent to impair an investigation.
Investigators say Greathouse concealed drugs in connection with the investigation into Jordan’s death.
He was sentenced to 10 years in state prison.
