Join us at The Gallery at UTA on Saturday, October 10, for the final event of Introductions exhibition, featuring artists Liz Trosper and Danielle Beverly, with a gallery breakfast and artist talks moderated by curator Lilia Kudelia.

At noon, Liz Trosper will discuss her ongoing ALT+drag project, including the digital paintings and video work on view in the exhibition. Filmmaker Danielle Beverly will follow with a conversation about her documentary practice, including current productions, her recent film Qatar Stars (2023), and the film about Lonnie Holley, whose remarkable practice transforms found and discarded objects into new forms and meanings.

Spend Saturday morning with us thinking about what we overlook, what we discard, and how artists transform materials, experiences, and stories into something new.

Gallery breakfast at 11AM | Talks at 12 PM | Gallery open 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

This is the final event of Introductions and the last Saturday to see the exhibition.
