Isaias made landfall as a category 2 hurricane Friday at 8:30 pm near Destin, Florida. The storm will continue to weaken as it moves inland but will bring winds and rain across the eastern part of the country.

Extended forecast:
Next week the humid onshore flow returns, increasing sea breeze shower chances. Next weekend there is a chance for a cool down but it will depend on if a front reaches southeast Texas.
