LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The late season surge continues for the No. 11 Kingdom Prep Warriors (5-3, 2-0), who knocked off the No. 8 Golden Lions from Christ the King 54-20 Friday night at Trinity Christian.
This comes a year after CTK earned it’s first ever victory over KPA with a 62-38 win.
KPA set the tone early when Blake Ramsey recovered an onside kick to start the game. From there, QB Jacob Farmer connected with Lincoln Riddle for the first score of the game, giving momentum to the Warriors.
The Warriors will seek out their fourth consecutive win next Friday when they face Midland Holy Cross. Christ the King will host Plainview Classical 4:30 p.m., also on Friday.
