East River and the Houston Maritime Center & Museum invite families to Boo on the Bayou Family Day on Sunday, October 25, from 1–4 PM. The Halloween-themed afternoon will feature free family programming, hands-on maritime activities, and complimentary admission to the Houston Maritime Center & Museum.
Guests are encouraged to arrive in costume for a children’s costume contest, with creative maritime- and Halloween-inspired looks welcome, including mermaids, sailors, pirates, and other imaginative costumes. The event will also include a live DJ, face painting, balloon art, firetrucks and boats, plus interactive booths from maritime partners.
The family-friendly event is free to attend. Guests are encouraged to register in advance and share the event with friends and family.
