NFC East standings update: Are the Cowboys playing in the AL West?

After five weeks of the NFL season, the NFC East is looking a lot like the AL West.

The Rangers failed to make MLB’s postseason in a division where the winner finished 81-81, the first time in baseball history a team qualified for the playoffs in a 162-game season without a winning record. The Cowboys seem to be in a similarly mediocre division.

Here’s a look at the NFC East standings.

The Giants should have an opportunity to get back in the win column in Week 6 when they face the Saints (1-4) at home. The Commanders aren’t as fortunate, as they’ll head to San Francisco to play the 49ers (4-0) on Monday night. The Eagles return home to face the Panthers (2-2), and the Cowboys will meet old friend Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers (3-2) at Lambeau Field next Sunday night.
