Several northbound lanes of Interstate 35E in Dallas are closed due to a collision. The far-left lane, two far-right lanes and right shoulder are closed near Manana Drive, according to the Texas Department of Transportation’s traffic tracker.
TxDOT detected the collision at 8:36 a.m., and cameras show vehicles making their way through the remaining two middle lanes.
Emergency services have responded to the scene, and are still blocking the interstate. The collision happened near the Loop 12 interchange, and traffic around the area is heavy.
The cause of the accident and number of individuals involved remains unknown. Dallas police did not responded to immediate requests for comment.
