LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Workforce Solutions will host its annual South Plains Career Youth Expo on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The event will give high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, explore career paths, and learn more about opportunities available after graduation.
The Career Youth Expo will be a come-and-go event where students can speak directly with employers and representatives from a variety of industries.
“Events like the Career Youth Expo give students an opportunity to learn about careers and industries they may not have encountered before,” said Dr. Ben Alexander, CEO of Workforce Solutions South Plains. “We want students to have the chance to ask questions, make connections, and discover opportunities they can begin working toward now and in the future.”
