The Dallas Stars are looking to bounce back from Saturday’s shootout loss in Pittsburgh and claim their third win of the season. They host the Colorado Avalanche at American Airlines Center on Tuesday, Oct. 13, with puck drop at 7:30 p.m. Tyler Seguin has been productive against Colorado, totaling 49 points in 43 career games. Among active Stars skaters, only Jamie Benn has more points against the Avalanche. Seguin has also collected 10 points in his last seven games against Colorado. Jake Oettinger has allowed just one goal over his last three games, following back-to-back shutouts before the Pittsburgh matchup. Last week, he set a career-high shutout streak of 188 minutes, 52 seconds, the third-longest streak in the history of the franchise. But Dallas has room to improve on offense. The Stars have scored 11 goals, averaging 2.2 per game. Mikko Rantanen leads the team with six points, while Wyatt Johnston has four assists. Dallas’ power play has converted just 7.7 percent of its chances.
