Urban Egg is now open on Burnet Road in North Austin, serving up breakfast and lunch classics.
The new expansion marks Urban Egg’s first Austin location, with other locations found in Colorado, Kansas and Missouri.
On the menu
The Austin location menu will feature uniquely Texan offerings, including a Ranch Water, baked chilaquiles and shrimp and grits, according to a news release. The restaurant also partnered with local food suppliers including Fiesta Tortillas, Texas Coffee Roasters, New World Bakery and Texan Heartland.
The drink menu
Urban Egg has a selection of cocktails, coffee-based drinks and juice blends.
The celebration
Urban Egg is hosting a multi-day grand opening from Oct. 12-14 featuring exclusive giveaways. The first 20 customers to dine each day from Oct. 12-14 will receive free coffee for a year. The new business is also hosting a raffle to give one customer free pancakes for a year.
