Bank of America announced today the naming of Kashif “Kash” Qamruddin as the new Senior Vice President and Business Banking Market Executive for Fort Worth. In this key leadership role, Kash will lead a team of banking professionals dedicated to supporting the growth and success of Fort Worth’s vibrant business community, from local startups to established, mid-sized companies. Bank of America has been the top lender to small businesses for five years, according to the FDIC.
In his new role, Kash brings more than a decade of hands-on business banking leadership to the Fort Worth market. He will focus on building deep-rooted client relationships, expanding access to capital, and deploying Bank of America’s full suite of banking, lending, and advisory services. Under his leadership, the Fort Worth Business Banking team will place a heightened focus on high-growth regional sectors while expanding support for diverse entrepreneurs and actively increasing the reach of the bank’s Small Business Administration (SBA) lending programs across North Texas.
“Fort Worth and the broader DFW metroplex represent one of the most dynamic economic environments in the country, and I am honored to lead Bank of America’s Business Banking team here,” said Qamruddin. “Having spent my career working closely with business owners from the frontline up, I understand the operational discipline and strategic agility required to build long-term resiliency. My mission is to ensure that North Texas entrepreneurs have direct access to the tailored solutions, capital, and guidance they need to scale and thrive right here in Fort Worth.”
Qamruddin’s 12-year trajectory within Bank of America is a powerful story of frontline experience shaping executive strategy. He joined the bank in 2014 as a Personal Banker in Chicago and steadily advanced through roles as a Small Business Banker, Relationship Manager leader, and Regional Performance Manager across the Midwest and Southeast. His journey from frontline customer service to Senior Vice President gives him a unique perspective on the day-to-day opportunities and challenges facing local business owners.
“Kash brings the experience and leadership needed to help Fort Worth businesses navigate a complex economic environment,” said Mike Pavell, president, Bank of America Fort Worth. “His strong track record and deep understanding of client needs make him the right leader to expand our support for companies across the market.”
Kash is active in community advocacy and talent development through Bank of America’s Asian Leadership Network, IGEN and Junior Achievement. A multi-time recipient of the bank’s prestigious Pinnacle Award, he also recently spoke at a U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce event in Fort Worth on supporting diverse entrepreneurs.
