The Mansfield Lake Ridge Eagles (4-2, 2-1) travel to Fort Worth on Friday night for a 7 p.m. kickoff against the nationally-ranked North Crowley Panthers (6-0, 3-0) at Crowley ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium in a UIL 6A Region II District 11 matchup.

North Crowley enters the contest riding a wave of dominance after dismantling Waxahachie 42-17 last week behind a flawless performance from quarterback Jacob Torres, who completed all 11 of his pass attempts. The Panthers’ ground attack proved equally devastating, with Kiante Ingram rushing for 157 yards and two touchdowns while G’Yrell Smith added 116 yards and three scores. The victory marked another statement win for a North Crowley program that routed Lake Ridge 62-17 in last season’s district meeting on Oct. 9, 2025, in Mansfield.
Lake Ridge brings momentum of its own to Fort Worth, having won four of its past five games, including back-to-back victories heading into Friday. The Eagles posted a 37-18 triumph over Dallas Skyline last week, continuing an offensive surge that has seen them score at least 37 points in each of their four wins this season. Senior quarterback DeShawn Edwards leads an Eagles attack looking to avenge last year’s lopsided defeat and prove they can compete with the district’s elite.
Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT on Friday, October 16 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
