AUSTIN, Texas — Firefighters responded to a house fire in North Austin early Friday.

The fire was reported at about 5:40 a.m. at 1513 Beckett Street, according to Austin Fire Department.

A CBS Austin crew saw significant damage to the home’s roof. Several firefighters remained at the scene after sunrise.

It was not immediately known whether anyone was hurt or what caused the fire.
