EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Banana Ball is scheduled to return to Southwest University Park next summer, with the Texas Tailgaters set to play the Party Animals on June 18 and 19, 2027.

The Tailgaters, the 2026 Banana Bowl champions, will play two nights of games in El Paso. The official ticket lottery list is open at bananaball.com/tickets.

Joining the list does not guarantee a chance to buy tickets, officials said.

Banana Ball made its El Paso debut in May 2026, drawing sold-out crowds for both games.

The Tailgaters swept the Firefighters, winning 2-1 in Banana Ball points on May 15 and 4-1 on May 16.

The fast-paced version of baseball is known for its modified rules and entertainment throughout the game.

The 2027 series will bring a new matchup to the Borderland.
