Constable deputies and the Klein Fire Department are on the scene of a major gas leak near Cypresswood Drive and Champion Forest Drive.
All northbound lanes on Champion Forest are closed as crews work to secure the area.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
