DALLAS – Police investigated an incident near the Dallas Area Rapid Transit White Rock Station on Wednesday afternoon.
What we know:
Just before noon, DART announced it was suspending service at the White Rock Station due to police activity.
Images from SKY 4 showed police and K-9 units inspecting a car at the entry to the DART parking lot. The bomb squad was also on the scene.
There also appeared to be a collision between a DART bus and an SUV near the station along Northwest Highway.
What we don’t know:
DART police haven’t yet released details about what happened or if anyone was hurt.
It’s not clear if the car investigation and the bus crash are connected.
Service Suspended
DART resumed normal operations at the White Rock Station just before 1 p.m., although riders may still experience some delays throughout the afternoon.
Several eastbound lanes of the Northwest Highway at East Lawther Drive have also reopened.
