Darts bar and entertainment venue Flight Club is making its Dallas-Fort Worth debut with an opening in Addison this month.

Flight Club is known for Social Darts, an interactive multiplayer reimagining of traditional pub darts. There are Flight Clubs around the country, with one other Texas location in Houston.

The Addison location will open on Oct. 23 in the Village on the Parkway shopping center.

“Addison always felt like an excellent fit for our first Flight Club in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro,” Toby Harris, president and CEO of State of Play Hospitality, which operates Flight Club in North America under license, said in a news release. “Its central location, thriving dining and entertainment scene, and local corporate community made Addison a natural choice.”

Spanning roughly 8,000 square feet, the Addison venue will be able to accommodate up to 400 guests and will feature two patios and 12 semi-private playing areas known as oches, according to the release. Each oche can have up to 12 guests and will include a dartboard, dedicated seating and tableside service.

Flight Club’s Social Darts technology automatically scores every throw and offers a collection of multiplayer games designed for groups of all sizes and skill levels, the release said. The technology allows players to focus on playing the game rather than keeping score.

The menu is focused around shareable dishes such as flatbreads, sliders and tacos. Flight Club’s bar features a mix of classic and signature cocktails, which can also be prepared without alcohol, as well as a selection of wine and locally sourced draft beers.

The Addison venue will have Flight Club’s design aesthetic of Victorian fairgrounds and traditional British pubs, while incorporating artwork that nods to Dallas and Texas, according to the release. It will also feature different spaces, such as a main bar, a leather-studded Pegasus Room and an orangery-inspired playing area.

“We can’t wait to open the doors and share this beautiful new space with our guests,” Harris said in the release.

Additionally, Flight Club will offer recurring programming, such as Flight Fridays, which will feature DJ sets along with challenge games that will include prizes. The venue will have happy hour offerings from 4 to 6 p.m. that include $2 off draft beer, liquor and wine by the glass, as well as specialty cocktail pricing, the release said.
