LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Idalou Wildcats (8-0) are coming off of a big 38-20 win over Littlefield this past Friday. With that performance, they were named this week’s KCBD End Zone Team of the Week.
The Wildcats are currently ranked as the top overall team in 3A Division II as they have been led by their offensive and defensive lines so far this season in the trenches. On offense Idalou is led by AJ Huddleston who has followed up an All-State season with yet another remarkable season.
Idalou, with only a couple of games left to go in the season, is off to their best start since the 2020 season as they will be looking to put themselves in position to make a run in the postseason.
The Wildcats will look to win their 9th game in a row with a road matchup against Muleshoe set for Friday, October 23.
