Highway I-20 at Spur 408 was shut down on Monday morning after a deadly crash, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.
Police believe a wrong-way driver collided with another driver. The wrong-way driver died; the other driver was hospitalized and their condition is unclear.
DFR said units were called to the crash just after 3:00 a.m. on Monday.
They said two vehicles were involved. One person died, and another person was hurt. It’s unclear which car each person was in.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
