Bordeaux & Crème, a wine and dessert lounge, is expected to open this fall at The Shops at Legacy North, offering curated wine pairings, house-made desserts and an intimate space for after-dinner gatherings.
The 1,426-square-foot lounge will seat approximately 40 guests and feature a menu of six desserts, each designed with wine pairings in mind. The wine selection will include approximately 30 options available by the glass or bottle, ranging from sparkling and rosé to white and red wines. Curated wine flights will also be available.
Among the signature desserts is the Brûlée Cheesecake, made with vanilla bean crème fraîche cheesecake, a brown butter sablé crust and a brûléed sugar topping. It will be paired with a sweet wine to complement the dessert’s caramelized flavors.
Another offering, Pistachio Romance, combines a Sicilian pistachio macaron with raspberry confit, pistachio ganache, fresh raspberries and rose sugar, paired with sparkling rosé.
“Wine and dessert are often treated separately, but they’re capable of creating something truly memorable when they’re thoughtfully paired,” Owner Shanice Williams said.
Williams said the concept grew out of a desire for a dedicated space to enjoy wine and dessert after dinner, rather than treating sweets as an afterthought.
“Some of life’s best conversations happen after dinner and there should be a space worthy of them,” Williams said. “A glass of wine, something sweet, and music that sets the mood is an evening experience I always wanted but could never quite find.”
Bordeaux & Crème will be located at 5840 Legacy Circle, Suite D165, near restaurants including The Capital Grille and Seasons 52.
An exact opening date has not been announced.
