EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The Borderland is taking its celebration of America’s 250th birthday to the skies this weekend as the Amigo Airsho returns to Biggs Army Airfield on Fort Bliss, with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels headlining the event.
Among the performers are Undaunted Airshows pilots Stephen Christopher and Todd Rudberg, who will fly what is described as a high-energy, two-ship show featuring aerobatic and precise maneuvers that require trust.
“I mean we’re just a couple of knuckleheads out there stumbled along the way and here we are. We maintain the airplanes, we built the airplanes we fly them and you can too. So we really want to give a chance for people to see what you can do,” Christopher and Rudberg said.
The airshow is Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 24 and 25, at Biggs Army Airfield on Fort Bliss. Gates open at 9 a.m. both days.
