SAN ANTONIO – Investigators have failed to find a cause of death for 7-month-old Ozana Cisneros, who was the subject of an AMBER Alert back in July.
On Tuesday, the Bexar County Medical Examiners office announced that the child’s cause of death and manner of death were ruled as “undetermined,” wth the case within the agency being officially closed.
Police are still investigating the situation. No arrests have been made in connection with the child’s death.

Ozana disappeared along with her 19-year-old mother, Maximina Cisneros, on June 10. An AMBER Alert was issued weeks later as investigators searched for the missing infant.
On July 10, Maximina Cisneros was found injured near Mission Concepción and taken to a hospital. Later that day, search crews found human remains off Parkview Drive, not far from where she was located. Those remains were later identified as Ozana.
