EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A group of students at Americas High School worked after school and on weekends to create an oversized, Texas-themed mum for Homecoming week.
The project began with an idea from their friend Amanda.
The students spent hours building the handmade creation, but their first attempt fell apart.
They started over and finished the project, showing what their parents described as creativity, perseverance, and school spirit.
The students’ parents shared the story, saying they hoped the group would receive recognition for their teamwork and hard work.
