LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The far east end of Buffalo Springs Lake will be closed Thursday to allow divers to work on the dam.
Lubbock County received $8 million in ARPA funding in 2024 to widen the dam and update it.
Everyone is asked to stay clear of the designated work area to allow the divers to complete their work safely.
The area will reopen to the public at 5 p.m. Thursday.
