APD’s Commercial Burglary Unit is seeking information about a black Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck that may be connected to the thefts.

Police said poor-quality surveillance footage has prevented detectives from identifying the suspects or obtaining a readable license plate.

Authorities are also warning residents about the dangers of tampering with electrical equipment, which can cause serious injuries or death.

Anyone with information is asked to contact APD’s Commercial Burglary Unit at APDCommercialburglary@austintexas.gov.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Capital Area Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477 or austincrimestoppers.org.
