LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Los Hermanos Familia is asking for the public’s help after the nonprofit’s trailer was stolen early Wednesday morning.
The trailer was taken around 3:30 a.m. from a storage facility near North Ash Avenue and Interstate 27.
It was loaded with gear for Lubbock’s annual “Vamos a Pescar, Let’s Go Fishing” event.
The group says the trailer holds about 200 fishing poles, tents, tables, games and more.
Los Hermanos Familia estimates the value of the contents, including the trailer, at around $18,000.

A police report has been filed.
