Another day of sunny, mild weather is in store for Dallas-Fort Worth Friday.

According to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office, Friday’s high temperature will reach 84 degrees, with a low of 60 degrees. Winds will remain relatively light during the day, with gusts reaching up to 16 mph.

Dallas-Fort Worth will also be under an air quality alert Friday due to the presence of ozone, which could be unhealthy for sensitive groups.

Daily high temperatures in Dallas-Fort Worth are about five to seven degrees above normal for this time of year, according to the weather service.

However, next week could bring more fall-like weather to North Texas, as the weather service is forecasting low rain chances and cooler weather.

Rain chances may return Monday and Tuesday, mainly west of Interstate 35, while another cold front may bring a chance of rain closer to Halloween, according to the weather service.
