Taylor Sheridan is cooking up something new.
The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino announced Thursday that it’s partnering with Sheridan and his Four Sixes Ranch on a new steakhouse for the Las Vegas fixture. The restaurant is expected to open early next year.
“MGM Grand has long served as the premier stage for defining moments in global entertainment where memorable experiences and exceptional dining collide,” Ari Kastrati, chief content, hospitality and development officer for MGM Resorts, said in a news release. “The arrival of the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse represents a pivotal moment in the evolution of our guest experience, introducing a pillar of American heritage representing the vision of Taylor Sheridan and his brilliant team at Four Sixes.”
🎬 In case you missed it:
The restaurant, named Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse, is described as an “elite boutique steakhouse” that combines ranch recipes with authentic Texas cuisine.
Prime-grade beef will be sourced directly from the ranch, which is located in Guthrie, Texas. There will also be an “adventurous” beverage program, including specialty craft cocktails, a curated wine list and rare spirits.
In addition, the steakhouse will feature digital walls showcasing custom footage from Sheridan that brings together the “landscapes and spirit of the American West.”
Sheridan has also roped in production designer Charisse Cardenas to design the dining room. The pair have worked together on shows like “Lioness,” “Landman” and “The Madison.”
“The Four Sixes Ranch has always stood for an uncompromising standard of craft and tradition, and bringing that ethos to a stage like MGM Grand is a thrilling evolution,” Sheridan said in a news release. “Every dish will tell a story of the American West, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone who walks through our doors.”

Sheridan previously opened a similar Four Sixes Ranch-themed steakhouse at the Wynn Las Vegas in 2024. The restaurant operated for two years and closed earlier this summer.
The Fort Worth-raised TV mastermind and a group of investors purchased the Four Sixes Ranch for more than $300 million in early 2022. The ranch appeared on “Yellowstone” and was supposed to get its own spinoff show, but Sheridan said earlier this year that those plans are no more.
