ABILENE, Texas (KCBD) – One week after gaining their first win of the season, the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates suffered their seventh defeat losing at Abilene Wylie 42-3.
LCP appeared to have momentum early on when the Pirates recovered an onside kick early in the contest. However, that was negated by a forced fumble on the following snap.
Lubbock-Cooper will try to get back into the win column next Friday when the Pirates welcome Wichita Falls Memorial on Senior Night.
