On Thursday, October 22, MySA visited Kyle Park to check on its progress thus far at the northwest corner of I-35 and Bebee Road, south of Austin. While no physical buildings are visible just yet, it appears that most of the land for the more than 100-acre site has been cleared with white stones.

Construction crews were hard at work excavating the land with piles of gravel and dirt nearby. Developed by NewQuest Properties, the project features a multi-phase mix of retail, multifamily housing, restaurants, specialty shops, wellness and personal care services, with additional opportunities for office space and entertainment options.

Some of the biggest confirmed retail tenants so far include TJ Maxx, Barnes and Noble, Boot Barn, Home Goods, Dick’s Sporting Goods and more. Popular restaurant chains like BJ’s Brewhouse, Gringo’s, Chili’s and Raising Canes have also filed plans for locations within Kyle Park.

The project, approved by Kyle City Council in December 2023, is estimated to create at least 800 full-time jobs and generate at least $2.5 million in sales taxes and $1 million in property taxes annually, per the city.

MySA reached out to NewQuest Properties for more information on new tenants coming to Kyle Park.
