Post Malone may have started as a rapper, but he’s all country now.

The Grapevine, Texas-raised singer played the second night of Formula One at Circuit of the Americas on Oct. 24. Malone’s little belly peeked out from beneath a Dallas Cowboys jersey representing wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and a shining belt buckle matched his golden grill.

“It feels good to be back f— home in the beautiful state of Texas,” Malone said to the cheering crowd. “I’ve come here to play y’all some s— songs and party f— hard while we do it. And as you can tell by my godly, statuesque physique, it’s been a minute since I’ve done a show.”

Malone ran through “Better Now,” “Circles” and the Morgan Wallen collaboration “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” while cracking open cans of Bud Light and splashing beer onto the audience.

“That song came out 10 f— years ago,” Malone said after singing “White Iverson.” “Thank you to everybody that’s still here rocking with me. It means the world. Everybody being so kind to me, showing me your heart and showing me your love, means the world to me.”

“Posty” hasn’t put out a new record since “F-1 Trillion” in 2024, but he took to social media last week to assure fans that his highly anticipated 40-song double album is almost finished. There is speculation that “The Eternal Buzz” will feature separate rap and country sections, reflecting the singer’s evolving genre duality.

Malone’s country-rock moments hit harder than his rap songs during the show, especially “What Don’t Belong to Me,” his Tim McGraw collaboration “Wrong Ones” and his Blake Shelton tune “Pour Me a Drink.”

Maybe it was the fireballs lining the stage during “Rockstar,” but an electric jolt ran through the crowd as the performance drew to a close. Fans danced to his 2018 smash hit “Sunflower,” then watched starry-eyed as a fireworks finale lit up the sky for “Congratulations.”

“Whatever you want to do in this life, do it as hard as you f— can,” Malone said, smoking a blue Camel Crush. “Live your life, live your f— dream, don’t let anybody on this planet stop you. There is nothing that can stop you from living your dream.”
