The hotter-than-normal fall weather trend continues , with a warm week ahead for Dallas-Fort Worth.

The expected high temperature for Wednesday, at 88, is almost 10 degrees above what is considered normal for mid-October, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.

Full sun is expected, but low humidity should help keep the heat index, or “feels like” temperature, a few degrees below the actual air temperature. The forecast high for the heat index is 86 degrees.

But overnight Wednesday, the temperature should dip a little lower than it has in recent days. It should reach its lowest point at 7 a.m. Thursday morning, when the temperature is expected to be 63 degrees.
