CANUTILLO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — All the Canutillo Independent School District kitchens will face off to prove who can make the best pozole.

The Canutillo ISD Pozole Cook-Off will be held at Canutillo High School on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.

All 10 kitchens in the district will participate to take the 2026 CISD Pozole Champion title.

The district said that whether it’s red or green or chicken or pork, each bowl will be judged on its taste, aroma, texture and looks.

A “Fan Favorite Award” will be voted on by the audience.

Canutillo HS is located at 6675 S. Desert Blvd.
