Officials have postponed a ribbon cutting and groundbreaking for projects at I.B. Magee Jr. Beach Park.
The event previously was scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27, but it now has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30.
Organizers didn’t release a reason for the postponement.
The event could be rescheduled again if the weather doesn’t cooperate. (Keep watching the South Jetty and the newspaper’s Facebook page for updates.)
