A San Antonio country musician was arrested on a first-degree felony charge after a police detective found child sexual abuse material in an iCloud account linked to him, according to an arrest affidavit.

Felix Roberto Juarez, 52, who performs as Felix Truvere, was arrested Friday and charged with possessing at least 50 visual depictions of child sexual abuse. A magistrate set his bond at $200,000, Bexar County records show.

A warrant for Juarez’s arrest lists July 7 as the alleged offense date.

A detective with the San Antonio Police Department’s human exploitation unit was reviewing data Apple provided under a search warrant in a separate invasive visual recording investigation when the detective found the material, the affidavit says. Juarez’s phone had been seized during that earlier investigation.

Juarez provided the email address for the iCloud account after declining to give the detective his phone’s passcode, according to the affidavit.

On Oct. 7, the detective found more than 50 videos containing child sexual abuse material in the account. The account was linked to Juarez’s phone, the detective wrote.

A website listed as belonging to the musician has since been set to private.
