Three schools in Arlington were evacuated after a bomb threat Tuesday morning, officials said.

Arlington police officers and firefighters responded about 10 a.m. after three area schools received bomb threats, the Arlington Fire Department said in a news release.

The threats were reported at Ditto Elementary School, Swift Elementary School and the Oakridge School, the fire department said.

Swift and Ditto elementary schools were evacuated due to a “security threat,” an Arlington ISD spokesperson said in a statement.

“Swift Elementary was quickly cleared by Arlington Fire this morning and returned to the regular school day. Ditto students were transported to Martin High School because Ditto had a longer wait for Arlington Fire to get to the school and conduct its search,” district officials said.

A video captured by Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV shows students lined up and being actively evacuated from Ditto Elementary School to Martin High School shortly after noon.

The third campus, Oakridge, is a private school.

“As a precaution, all three campuses were evacuated while the Arlington Fire Department and Arlington Police Department conducted searches of the facilities with consultation from the Arlington Fire Department’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team,” according to the fire department.

All three campuses were cleared after no suspicious devices were found. The final campus was cleared shortly before noon. No injuries were reported, officials said.

In an update about 1:30 p.m., school officials said Ditto Elementary students could be picked up from Martin High School. Parking is available at the baseball parking lot, off Mayfield Road, according to the ISD website.

Parents are asked to go to the west side of the Multipurpose Activity Center and will be asked to present a valid ID where the students will be dismissed, officials said.

At 2 p.m., students still at Martin High School will be taken back to Ditto Elementary. Dismissal from Ditto Elementary will take place as normal.
