SAN ANTONIO — University Hospital in San Antonio has been named the No. 7 Most Beautiful Hospital in America following a nationwide public vote, healthcare staffing company Soliant Health announced.

The hospital was among 57 facilities across the United States selected as finalists for Soliant’s 14th annual contest, with the top 20 securing spots on the 2026 list.

The annual contest recognizes healthcare facilities that emphasize aesthetic environments for patients, visitors, and medical staff. Soliant highlighted University Hospital’s modern architecture, community ties, and integration of visual art into patient care facilities.

A key factor in the hospital’s selection was its SaludArte: Art of Healing program, an initiative designed to integrate curated artwork into treatment areas to promote healing, hope, and patient trust alongside standard medical care.

“Each hospital on this year’s list has its own story, but what they share is the ability to make patients, families, and healthcare professionals feel supported and cared for,” said Emily Miller, President of Healthcare at Soliant. “Being selected by the public makes this recognition especially meaningful because it reflects the connection these hospitals have built with the communities they serve. We’re proud to recognize University Hospital among this year’s winners.”

Launched in 2009, the Soliant contest evaluates facilities on architectural features, natural lighting, peaceful surroundings, and staff culture. More than 200 hospitals nationwide have been recognized since the program’s inception.
